Firstvof all, Nick was excellent!!! That is the only good thing I have to say. Bought my car here. Been asking service to fix why the windshield washer fliud is disappearing from the reservoir for almost 2 years. I paid $100 deductible because the tech it needed a new reservoir. Nope! The was empty the next day. Nor was the reservoir properly intalled! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! Your service tech are so rip-off!

service was performed as expected. the problem was the stance and approach to the problem. the problem, caused by GM, should not be the customer's responsibility. lack of accountability and yhen profiting off the issue just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I clearly told my sales rep that I did not want the Theft Protection plan. He and his sales manager acknowledged that I would not have the Theft Protection plan added. When I met with the Finance Manager he had me sign all of the documents but did not inform me that he had me sign the Theft Protection plan. I only found out after I went home and viewed all of the paperwork. Extremely upset and feel like I was conned. I also told my rep that I did not want the Interior protection plan add on. He brought over his sales manager who told me that I can’t buy the car unless I take that add on. Very dishonest. I walked away feeling extremely frustrated that I had $1,550 of added fees to my payment plan that I said I did not want. First and last time I purchase from AutoNation. I was told that this was a no haggle dealership. Not the case.

overall they did very well, however I do feel that 2 hours to an oil change and coolant flush seems a long. there has to be a way to speed that up. i mean jiffy lube can do it in 30 minutes.

First appointment was booked a month ago and when I got there they didn't have it on record. Manager said corporate booked that and didn't send to the dealership. When I got there the 2nd time everything went smooth until I got my car back. Software wasn't set correctly and they left a monitoring device in my car. Had to turn around and come back. Service agent never called me back about software. After me calling the dealership three times without a call back, I finally drove out there again (now 3rd time) and they found a tech that figured out the problem. All of which could have been resolved over the phone if they had called me back.

They did not lube my vehicle, I brought it to attention of my serviceman. He took the truck back in and supposedly they greased it. I asked how many grease fittings were on my vehicle and the service advisor said he believed two. I Googled my vehicle and it said 12 fittings not sure if that is the case. My service advisor said he would get back with me and let me know, which he did not at this time. I hadn’t driven my truck since the lube, oil change and tire rotation. When I went to drive it I noticed all the plastic lug nuts on my hub caps on every tire were loose. I have chrome side bars and there were grease hand prints on the drivers side. I am not very happy with my servive and may not go there anymore.

I didn’t really spend much time at the dealership. Most negotiating was done via text and phone conversations. Test drove a truck but had the one I bought relocated from another dealership. The truck was what I wanted. My only issue is how poorly it was “cleaned” up. I took it to my local car wash and they did a better job than the retailer at the dealership did.

My wife was very unhappy. She was pushed into a vehicle she didnt want. The sales person kept telling her to stop being bougie and basically take what she could get.she was told because her current vehicle was old and with high mileage basically she needed to take what they were offering. She was told she could pick any color of a certain vehicle and that didn't happen. She called back to address the issues she had with the GM and never got a chance to speak with him and nor did he call her to address the issues. They made her feel low and didnt give her many options. So now she has a vehicle but she's unable to transport her grandmother as she told them she needed a vehicle that could accommodate her disable grandmother and her wheelchair and now she is unable to do so. My wife is very unhappy and stuck with a payment higher then she kept telling them she wanted to pay and basically unusable for her needs. No one seemed to listen or car and making sale was more important. We will never go there again. I also have a Chevy vehicle that I will be looking to replace but we will not be coming there and I will definitely be telling all my friends and family about this horrible experience.

Good service overall. Could not fix an equipment problem with my trunk not opening. Said I would have to leave car and could take up to two weeks to get to. So i had to go to Queen Creek to that dealership to fix issue. So did not care for that. Also appraiser contacted me and asked if I wanted to know trade of my car. She reached out to me I did not reach out to her. I said yes and told her interested in 26 corvette. She said she would get back with me that day with number for my vehicle but never heard back. (Follow up she has since reached out to me after i sent this same message to the service manager asking for a review) Probably wont buy from this dealership. Thank you.

I had a 7am appointment and was the first inline as I was ten minutes early. I was just there for an oil change. Truck didn’t get moved back into your bays until close to 8am and even though I noted I was waiting for it in the dealership, it didn’t get done until 10am. Didn’t feel I was given any priority.

I am writing to follow up on my recent oil change service on 6/2/2025 and to express a significant concern. Shortly after the service, I experienced severe engine issues at idle, including shaking, rattling, and bogging down. Upon inspection, I discovered that the top of the air filter box was unlatched and unscrewed, leaving a 1/2-inch gap between the top of the air box and the filter. My bigger concern is that I didn't notice this until we had driven 450+ miles on our vacation to California. So for 450+ miles my engine had been sucking in unfiltered air potentially causing unknown damage to the throttle body, map sensors, cylinders, pistons, valves, etc. I would appreciate it if someone could contact me to discuss a plan for rectifying this issue, including addressing any potential engine damage and how it will be resolved. During my appointment my service advisor Cody was great. He provided excellent and professional assistance during my visit, even securing a better discount than my original coupon. I called to service my Tahoe which is at 55,000 miles and specifically told them when I made the appointment that the navagation was not working and only showing North always. This was the same the previous time I took it in for service and was told that it could not be done then. Really even though they kept my Tahoe overnight then? This time I had an appointment for 10am and when I checked in I was told it could not be done and the part was taking over two months to order. Hmm. Why was that not communicated when I made the appointment. I had to wait for my "appointment made service" to after 5pm to pick it up although the work was only an hour job. Needless to say I missed appointments that day and being the second time having my vehicle serviced at this location I am not happy. What happened to customer service?

When I arrived, the service lines were long, but moved quickly. I was greeted within a minute of arriving. It did take a few more minutes to get completely checked in and leave my vehicle. I had called this dealer and waited three weeks for a return call because my truck was limiting my speed. I had returned calls from dealerships and two other states but never got a call back from the dealer where I bought the vehicle. I brought it in because of a concern with my DEF messaging. The dealer did some work and return the truck to me. I had the same problem within one minute of driving away. The dealer called me after I left feedback and they fixed it the second time. All of the people at the dealer were very nice.

No one came out to assist me when I arrived for my appointment. I had to find a representative. The staff looked too busy engrossed in their work to assist customers. A check engine light came on after my oil change service because the technician failed to put back my air box correctly. It seems the customer service completely disappeared immediately after my car was purchased which is sad.

Very good experience. Starting with my inquiry on the website. I received a call back right away. We drove two and a half hours to the dealership and was greeted quickly. Since we had picked the truck we wanted already, they had it gased up and ready to go. We met the sales manager and on to finance which was simple and easy. Our salesman met us after and helped set up the electronic by using my chevrolet app. Everything took about an hour and a half. My check engine light was on. They told me I would have to leave my car there for 2 -3 weeks in the 100 degree weather before they would look at it. I asked if they could just call me a couple of days before they would look at it for me to bring it in..They said no. I will never buy from them again. I went over to Freeway Chevy and they took care of me right away.

I would have given 4 stars if the service tech was responsive. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, the tech recommended an alignment as there was some wear on the tires that brough up some concern. While rotating my tires the broke the lug nut cap on one wheel. The service tech was supposed to get back to me with information on the extended warranty I have and what they were going to do about the lug nut cap. I have not heard back, even after reaching out. It has been a week today.

Happy with service advisor, but heads up display does not show the speed limit on any street or road. I was told by someone in sales that it needed a software update to remedy, and when I brought the vehicle in for issues which kept the 2025 Tahoe not to start after not using it for four days, I asked for a software update, but I am not sure if it was done, Either way, the heads up display is not functioning as designed.

I don’t understand why it takes so long to do a morning oil change & tire rotation for an appointment that you made online that says you’re going to wait & not drop off. I even asked the service advisor how long it would take & she told me an hour. It ended up being 2 1/2 hours, which is totally unacceptable. This was after a previous appointment for the same service that took 3 hours. I will be looking for somewhere else to take my vehicle in the future as my time & satisfaction obviously aren’t a priority to this dealership.

It took 3 months to get the parts to complete my repair. That's ridiculous. My service advisor did a good job keeping me posted when there was something to report. However, I still have not received an explanation for the delay. Furthermore, my purchase included a trial offering of both On-Star and /Sirius radio. BOTH trials expired while my truck was in for service.

I had an appointment at 11am to fix the L87 Recall on my 2023 Silverado 1500. My truck was finished at 3:38 pm. What is the purpose of an appointment if your dealership is not going to honor the scheduled time slot. My last two oil changes at this dealership took over three hours each and I had an appointment. This is totally unacceptable and a complete waste of the customers time.

Yes! I was in last weekend with some service notifications on my '23 Bolt leading me to believe that my battery might be dying. I did not have an appointment as this was an unexpected event and arrived before the Service Dept. opened. As luck would have it, Yvette greeted me as a Service Advisor. I explained my concerns and asked if a battery check could be performed. Yevette was very professional & friendly assuring me that they could definitely do that. Long story short, your service team was able to confirm the battery was in good shape, diagnosed the service notifications & were able to replace the failed part and had finished the work later that day! In every interaction with Yvette, she clearly communicated the status of the repair and was personable, professional, & friendly. She truly made me feel like a valued customer and more importantly - I trusted her. I commend your Service team as a whole and would also like to specifically thank Yvette & the service tech that worked on my vehicle. Job well done!

Cody was my service representative. I think he is a very nice guy and did the best he could given the backlog or inability of the mechanics side of your dealership to timely diagnose and recommend repairs. I had my vehicle towed to the dealership on a Saturday evening and I did not receive a repair diagnosis for 11 or 12 days. Then it took another week for the repairs to be completed. This was 2.5 weeks that I was without my Vehicle. Not acceptable.

The service was great, as always. However, I noticed the perfume / body spray I had in my glove compartment was missing. Also, the pouch I keep in there had been opened. Luckily there was no money in there this time as I usually keep cash in it. I had never had any problems like this with this dealership. I’ve been taking my vehicles here for a few years now, and this is the first time I encounter this. I wanna believe that the perfume was left behind when they took everything out to change the cabin filter, and forgot to put it back in. I can’t find an explanation why the pouch would have to be opened.

Pretty good process except for the really hard sell at the end for the extended warranty. It makes is seem like AutoNation/GM is in the car warranty business rather than the selling a new car business. The argument that all cars are going to break and will eventually cost you more to repair than the cost of the warranty doesn’t make sense. If that was the case, AutoNation/GM wouldn’t be trying to sell extended warranties because it would be a negative margin business. There certainly a place for extended warranties and many people really appreciate the peace of mind they afford, but they shouldn’t be forced upon the buyer before they can complete their car buying experience.

Vehicle is 7 months old. Less than 3000 miles. The issue was manifesting itself as being starved for fuel when accelerating. I had many issues setting an initial appointment. Services advisors being changed and then that service advisors not available when truck was dropped off. I was initially told codes could not be retrieved from my truck and it would require a master technician who would not be available for five days. They pushed back hard on providing a loaner or a rental car as it was not yet determined to be a warranty issue. I responded with, In what world is an issue with a 7 month old vehicle with less than 3K miles NOT a warranty?? After another 24 hours and my continued pressure, a rental was provided. Next was an evaluation that the "harness" needed replacement and was on back order with no anticipated ship date. (Chevy issue, not a dealership issue). 4-5 weeks later the part came in and was installed. Picked up the truck and it was returned to me FILTHY dirty. It had sat outside and been through 2-3 monsoon storms. If they can wash a truck when you buy it, seems they could wash it after holding it for 5 weeks. Had the truck back now for approximately 10 days and seems to be running fine.

Here’s a cleaned-up version of your review for the car dealership service department. I’ve improved clarity, grammar, and organization while maintaining your honest tone and key details: I brought my 2023 Silverado ZR2 to AutoNation Chevrolet Gilbert for four issues: 1) a loud clunk in the front end when reversing, 2) an L87 recall, 3) a transmission problem, and 4) a broken cup holder bezel (damaged during a prior service at AutoNation Mesa). The truck, still under warranty, was in the shop for over a month. For the first week, no courtesy vehicle was provided, leaving me to arrange my own transportation. After a week, I received a loaner. The dealership resolved the front-end clunk after a year and a half, which was progress. The L87 recall fix felt like a temporary solution, though I understand this is a Chevrolet issue, not the dealership’s fault. For the transmission, they replaced the valve body, which required reprogramming the truck’s shifting. When I picked up the truck, the transmission shifted so harshly on the drive home that I thought it might fail completely. Exhausted, I let it go that night. The next day, while driving to pick up my child from school, it slammed three more times. I returned the truck to the dealership, and after one day, they told me the harsh shifting was “normal” and that the transmission needed 200 miles to “relearn” shift patterns. Even after driving it, the transmission still slips and shifts roughly. In the two years I’ve owned this truck, it’s spent over two months in service. AutoNation Gilbert’s technicians seem more competent than those at Mesa, but their customer service was lacking. They were never rude, but they weren’t proactive or prompt in addressing concerns. Overall, I’d rate my experience three stars.

I had a 10 am appointment for an oil change when I got there I was told there was a reprograming needed for fuel injectors that would take about 20 min to do. my vehicle was not even looked at until around 12 pm. Took a whole month for a diagnostic that I had already received, yet two warranties were denied when the contract shows no indication to the reasoning in which it was denied. Then was quoted $4400 when I was quoted $1300 for the same fix at a different Chevrolet dealership.

I am writing to share my disappointment regarding our recent vehicle purchase experience at your dealership. Unfortunately, the overall process fell well below our expectations—especially given the nature and cost of the vehicle purchased. From the start, there was a noticeable lack of attention and attention to detail. The car we received was not cleaned prior to delivery and had a significant scratch on the rear bumper, along with a missing clip on the front bumper. We were told to bring the car to the shop the following Monday to address these issues; however, when we arrived, the staff had no idea who we were or why we were there. To make matters worse, our salesperson was on vacation with no instructions left for the team regarding our situation. The sales and finance process was equally frustrating. Despite completing the initial paperwork on Wednesday and returning Thursday with final payment, we were not provided with any of the necessary documentation. The finance representative was unavailable, and no one seemed to take responsibility for ensuring that our paperwork was properly handled. While we initially worked with Peyton—who was pleasant and professional early on—his communication became dismissive and unhelpful as the process went on. We were then passed off to another salesperson, Roberto, who appeared inconvenienced and uninterested in assisting us. This lack of communication and coordination between sales, finance, and the service department created a confusing and disappointing experience from start to finish. We invested nearly $90,000 in this vehicle, yet the experience felt like purchasing from a used side lot rather than a reputable dealership. Based on this experience, we would not consider returning as future customers. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve your communication, professionalism, and overall customer experience moving forward.

I came in for a oil change, tire rotation, wind shield wiper replacement and a drain and fill for my transmission fluid. I had done research before coming about the differences between a transmission drain and fill vs a flush…and when i talked with the service guy upon arrival, i specifically said i wanted drain and fill. But apparently didn’t not clarify enough that I didn’t want a flush, because thats what I got. I didn’t see this until I reviewed my receipt after leaving. In addition, ever since my tire rotation, my car is shaking bad when i am driving. I suspect it might be my alignment when i hadn’t noticed any problems before coming in.

This was my second visit to this dealership. First was just an oil change. This was to diagnose and fix a check engine light. Both visits were handled in a highly professional manner with exceptional service. I test drove a 2500 Silverado but ended up getting a different one that I didn’t drive. It was more expensive but the salesman said it had leather seats that we wanted and heads up display so we purchased it. The vehicle needed a new battery and was delivered to my house and I discovered that it does not have the heads up display feature. Still like the truck but was excited to have this additional feature.

I recently brought my truck to AutoNation Chevrolet for a standard service — oil change, tire rotation, alignment, and new wiper blades. Normally, when you take your vehicle in for an oil change, the expectation is that basic fluid levels (coolant, power steering, etc.) are checked as part of the routine inspection. Unfortunately, that clearly didn’t happen. Two days later, during a short road trip, I had to stop in random towns to buy and add coolant and power steering fluid, which was both frustrating and concerning; especially considering I spent over $450 for these basic services. My truck only has 48,000 miles and is in great shape, so there’s no reason something this simple should have been overlooked. While the staff was polite and the scheduling process was easy, the lack of attention to detail during the service visit was disappointing. For the price and reputation of AutoNation, I expected a more thorough inspection and basic care to ensure the vehicle was ready to go once it left the lot.

Where do I start? First, let me say the customer service rep was very nice and cooperative. No issues with her at all. However, the service work that was performed numerous times and cost me thousands of dollars and it’s still not fixed was extremely disappointing. I own a 2006 Corvette Z06 that had a fuel odor but no apparent leak when I brought my car in the first time in Feb 2025 for an oil change, multi-pt inspection and check for any leaks especially in the fuel system. The car was returned a week later and the service team said there were no leaks. In May 2025 I brought the car back again because of the smell of fuel. It took several weeks before I was told the it needed a new fuel pump. After receiving the estimate i gave the CSR the ok. While replacing the fuel pump the service tech found that the cross over pipe and seals need to be replaced. Fine just take care of it so I can get my car back. Total cost $3,500. In November 2025 I brought the car back again because the engine light came on and a notification that something was wrong with the fuel system. In addition, when I tired to add fuel because the car showed the fuel tank was low I could add more than a 1/2 tank. This time the service tech found that the “new” fuel pump needed to be replaced, passenger side tank was empty and float stuck at bottom. They replaced the fuel pump module again (which I had to pay for because there wasn’t a warranty??)and verified the repair according to my paper work at a cost of $700. Plus when I picked up my car it was filthy and cover in dirt. Needless to say I was not pleased. So I left the dealership disappointed again and drove straight to a car wash to get my car cleaned (hand washed- $65) and fill up the fuel tank. Guess what? I could only add 74 cents worth of gas my fuel gauge showed 1/2 tank still. Nothing had changed for $700! So I immediately drove back to Auto National in Gilbert, AZ and spoke to my CSR to tell her what happened. She apologized and gave my a loaner vehicle and said her manager was out of town and that she would notify me as soon as she found out what was wrong. I asked her to please park my vehicle in a safe dry place since I just had it throughly cleaned which she did personally. A few days later I hear from my CSR via email that they found something wrong with the evaporation system and it will cost another $2,500 to fix. However this time there would be a 2 year warranty on the GM parts. Seriously I’m done! So today Dec 1, 2025 I returned the loaner vehicle and picked up my Z06 and I will find a reputable dealer to complete the necessary repairs the first time and not gouge me. Very respectfully, Mr. Disapponted

The vibe was great until I needed to utilize a coupon. They told me the service repairs were at a menu price already discounted, therefore I couldn't use my 25% off ($150 max) for my $1600+ service bill. I am a single dad and don't have a lot of extra at this time. I was able to use $30 coupon for the brakes and they took off $20 from the alignment. I really could've used that other coupon. SO, don't sent these coupons in the mail as a dealership if things are not intended to be used.

Not great. Walked in at 8:30 for a scheduled drop off for a recall item. 8 people sitting at their desk didn't bother to even look up. I stood there for a bit with no interaction and then walked over to an open office to ask find out if I was even in the right place. We gave our customer service person instructions to call my wife's phone when the car was ready for pickup. Instead, they called my phone and we were without a car until the next day. I suggest you greet people when they walk in the door and ask how you can help. Better yet, have someone waiting for the scheduled drop off outside when they arrive. There are tons of options of where to get the car serviced or to trade it in and consider another vehicle. I won't be doing either at AutoNation Chevrolet. Pretty sure if I walked in wanting to buy a car, someone would have greeted me in seconds. It's the aftercare that creates a loyal customer and repeat business.

WOW! What a GREAT experience! I took my sweet time finding the right vehicle in the right color and I mean, I took my sweet time. My salesman, Emilio was patient, not pushy, never seemed to get annoyed with my back and forth decisions or that I made him wait a looooong time to pull my credit. He was just a joy to work with the entire process. In addition, when he was away from me, other employees asked if I needed water or anything while I waited. Everyone was super nice! The final process of purchasing with finance was always pretty amazing. The one I worked with, forgot his name, was super nice, explained a lot, very personable and even gave me a pointer on how to get money back on my trade in vehicle from the previous dealer. Overall a TERRIFIC experience! I bought an Equinox RS EV, it’s sooo smooth and quiet. I LOVE IT!!! Thank you AutoNation Chevy for a wonderful buying experience and a beautiful new car.

I had shocks that were going to be replaced under warranty but the parts were on back order. Dealership didn’t contact me about part arriving. I had to call them and the repairs performed didn’t fix the issue of rear suspension creaking. The service manager Gary told me that since I was out of warranty by 3000 miles he couldn’t help me.

The oil change is quick and easy. However, I was told that if I request deep diagnostics of my reversing camera, it could take three to four days. That honestly makes me hesitant to proceed, as I can’t be without a car for that long. I’m not sure why the wait time is so extensive. If this is the case, the dealer should provide a loaner vehicle while my car is being inspected.

I started the search process online. When I found the truck I wanted, Nikki (Courtney) and her team were able to work out the deal I wanted. When I got to the dealership it was all ready to go. No surprises. They also let me know about an additional bonus $500 off using the GM Card toward down payment. The finance guy was also very good. He told me about warranty options. We were not able to spend any more for an extended cuz we hit our budget limit but he was able to get us one that was basically free after the $1250 incentive offered with it. Everybody was nice. Nobody was pushy. All the text replies were quick. I would for sure go to Autonation again.

The lack of communication and the overall experience was not so great. It took me calling four separate times to figure out that the person who originally was supposed to take care of me wasn’t available. When I got the feedback on what was done to my vehicle via video you can clearly hear the mechanic next to him use profanity and because I play this video next to my children, I was horrified. I told everyone what happened and I was assured I would get a phone call back however that has not happened yet. It’s been almost a week. I’ve been dealing business with you guys for over 10 years. I bought three trucks and bought a brand new engine for my suburban. I was deeply dissatisfied and disappointed with the overall experience.

My sister purchased a 2025 Traverse from AutoNation Gilbert, she had a good experience so this encouraged us to shop here as well. Huge shoutout to Peyton and Joseph, they were awesome!! This is the first dealership that I shopped with that actually listen to our needs and worked to meet those needs, they did NOT pressure us to just buy whatever they had on the lot, regardless of if it was a good fit. I was shopping for a Tahoe with specific features within a certain budget, this dealership did not have this car but they certainly tried to find it online. I still have faith they will find my gem but in the interim, they did find me a traverse that meets all the needs except for the capability to pull an RV. Overall I would shop here and recommend these guys to our friends and family!

Good service, just wish the price wasn’t as high as it is. More than a hundred dollars for an oil change seems excessive when an oil change out in town can be achieved (with the exact same results), for half the price.

I had my car towed because it had all the check engine, transmission, air bag lights on both in the car and in my OnStar app. It wouldn’t accelerate past 9 mph which is why it was towed. I bought my 2020 Chevy Trax brand new from this dealership and have always taken it here for service etc.. unfortunately this time the experience was bad and still not resolved. My advisor Ivan told me it was just my battery (even though my battery was 1 1/2 years old only) and that unless I paid for a new battery they couldn’t diagnose my car further. So I agreed to have them replace the battery and pay for it. After they did that the service advisor said my car was fine and I picked it up. I drove less then 1 mile down the street and my car did the same thing- shut down on me in the road in traffic and would not accelerate above 9 mph. So I turned around and putted back to the dealership. Because it was the end of the day my advisor had already left they told Me and they told me they would leave a note for him. This was last Friday night. I figured I would hear back on Saturday. When I didnt hear from anyone I called to check and the person on service told me that my advisor didn’t work on Saturday so no one had done anything with my car and that I had to wait until Monday. Now it’s Monday and I called to check with my advisor Ivan who said an initial code check did show something wrong and that a master tech would have to diagnose it further but that would take several days. I am not happy that the car was released to me to begin with when obviously something's wrong and now without good communication I am out a vehicle. This is my only car and mode of transportation for work. I am also concerned now that it may not really have been the battery issue and I had to pay for something that was maybe not needed all along

I brought my truck in for service on 12/8. It took a full business week for the tech to even clock in on it. Cody negotiated me a rental car, which I don't think should have been given by policy, but I appreciate it since the alternative was not having a car for a week. A radiator hose needed to be ordered for a small leak, which Cody recognized upon receipt of the vehicle. The radiator hose was on back order, as ALL parts that the truck has needed have been. That part was not ordered until the tech saw the vehicle (a week later!). Several times I asked for a timeline. After several unanswered requests I was told the expected timeline for the back order was 4 weeks! A week could have been taken off of my wait time by being able to diagnose cars when they arrive. On one morning Cody told me my truck was next in line. It wasn't looked at until the next day, which means the dealership looked at ONE car in an entire day. In the end, I was without my car for more than a month so that the shop could replace a battery, change the oil, rotate the tires, and replace a radiator hose. That cost you $45/day for the rental ($1350 total), infuriated a customer, and has seriously deterred me from purchasing another GM product. If the service center can't employ mechanics, and GM can't service dealer's parts departments, yet they continue to produce a truck that has needed of both while well within warranty, why should a customer even consider a GM product? This has been illustrative of organizational incompetence at the highest levels. My experience with sales personnel and service advisors (Nick Soulliere and Cody) has been good. The inability of the shop at Autonation Gilbert to service vehicles in a timely manner is frustrating. The inability of GM to service parts for vehicles is appalling. We have never had this problem with VW, Mini, Toyota, or Mazda. Service with all have been prompt and professional. Dealing with General Motors felt like dealing with someone who has no experience in the industry. How can a manufacturer possibly be so bad at supplying dealers with parts? This is the second time my truck has needed a part, and the second time that General Motors miserably failed to deliver. The first time was a replacement seat cushion, needed owing to a manufacturing defect. That order led to shipment of an incorrect part, then a shipment of an incorrect part in a correct box. It took several months for the dealer to receive the correct part from GM parts supply. This failure now looks like a pattern of incompetence. In short: experience with Cody was fine. Experience with your shop was bad. Experience with GM was horrible and inclines me to never buy a GM vehicle again.

First, the vehicle we ended up getting is excellent. We love it. However, when we did an internet search, Gilbert AutoNation showed it had a Colorado trail boss, vin ending in 1148820, so we went there only to learn that the vehicle was not there, it was at the mesa autonation store. Had we known, we would have gone to the mesa store. That vehicle with savings had an autonation price of $38,785, but Humberto, the sales manager told us it would actually be about $4,000 more because they had added things like chip/rock guard on the front etc. this caused us to almost walk away because the add was misleading. The add said 38,785. An advertised price should mean everything on the vehicle. They then adjusted the price back down, but then told us the vehicle was no longer available. In the end, the salesman Peyton, found us the nice Colorado we have at a fair price at a different Chevy dealership. Lastly, we felt an add on warranty at a cost of $4,500 was just too much. To conclude, we love the truck, Peyton did a good job, but the undisclosed surprise price increase by the manager nearly killed the possibility of a purchase.
