The TurboMax™ can tow up to 9,400 lbs. and carries a published base payload figure as high as 2,340 lbs. in Regular Cab 2WD form. The Cabin Has Been Brought Firmly Into 2027
Every Silverado now gets a 16.3-inch center display and 12.2-inch Driver Information Center, so the redesigned dashboard makes quite an impression before the truck even moves. High Country and ZR2 add an 11.5-inch passenger display, Head-Up Display, and Rear Camera Mirror, contributing to more than 60 inches of combined digital display area. The available Multi-Flex Center Console has a more hands-on role, folding into a work surface and adding configurable storage. Standard driver-assistance equipment includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Front and Rear Park Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Safety Alert Seat, and an HD Rear Vision Camera. Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Side Bicyclist Alert, Reverse Automatic Braking, and Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking also become standard for 2027.
Three Lifted Models Turn Toward the Dirt
Custom Trail Boss, Trail Boss, and ZR2 give Silverado buyers 3 factory-lifted options. Trail Boss combines a 2-inch lift with 34-inch MT tires and monotube shocks, creating a considerable mechanical departure from the road-focused trucks. ZR2 goes further with 35-inch MT tires, the same 2-inch lift, Multimatic® DSSV dampers, hydraulic jounce control dampers, and front and rear electronic-locking differentials. Those aren't decorative changes. The larger tires, specialized damping, and ability to lock both differentials give ZR2 the hardware to deal with terrain that asks for much more of a truck than a gravel parking lot.
